At LearnHowToBecome.org, our mission is to help job-seekers understand what it takes to find the perfect career, whether they're students trying to land that first job or seasoned professionals climbing the company ladder. We're here to support you every step along the way, with resources to help you find your dream position, write the perfect resume, or nail that interview.
We work to create accurate, up-to-date, engaging content that helps you succeed. Our goal is to create articles, rankings, tools, and resources informed by primary sources, data, and expert guidance. We partner with top career, training, and editorial experts to ensure all our content provides the information job-seekers need to succeed in the rapidly changing employment landscape.
How Revenue is Generated
We strive to be as transparent as possible about how we make money and from whom we receive compensation. On our site, we advertise certain schools that pay us for student referrals. We partner with these schools to provide information about them and their programs to prospective students, and we are compensated if you sign up to receive that information. School listings and descriptions from our clients will always be marked with "Sponsored Schools" or similar language to clearly identify promotional material.
Maintaining Editorial Integrity and Independence
Our proprietary methodology for evaluating content ensures that our guides, rankings lists, and overviews of educational programs are unbiased and user-focused. The data sources we use, which include the Bureau of Labor Statistics and Georgetown's Center on Education and the Workforce, are all recognized for providing accurate information about education and occupations around the country.
We also feature rankings lists of schools and educational programs. These lists only include nationally or regionally accredited, not-for-profit schools and they are created using data from reputable sources such as the U.S. Department of Education and The National Center for Education Statistics.
Our school rankings are developed using our own methodology, which evaluates factors such as program and student services, admission rates, completion and retention rates, and program costs. Schools cannot pay to be part of our rankings and our methodology for creating these rankings is clearly listed. No schools, including those that we advertise, receive preferential treatment in our rankings.
